After having been thrown off the police squad for repeated use of excessive force, Nick is back on the streets as an operative for the newly formed E.O.D. at the personal request of the Chief, and it is up to him to clean up the streets of L.A. for good. Taking its cue from martial-arts action adventure films, True Crime: Streets of L.A. is the first game to seamlessly combine car chases, martial arts, shoot-outs and on-foot pursuits into one vast sprawling adventure. In the role of Nick, players are armed with twin Berettas and crippling martial arts knowledge, patrolling the streets in your custom-made, police-tuned car handing out your own flavour of law & order. Whether you're in car or on foot, with over 100 missions as well as free roaming random missions, with several endings and near-limitless replayability stretched across the 250 square miles of the L.A. basin, True Crime: Streets of L.A. is set to be a huge game. As Nick, who is a misunderstood, no-holds barred badass cop, throughout the game your missions will include tracking down evasive informants, searching for clues that could make or break the case and of course taking down the bad guys whether it be by hand or handgun.
